1. PRODUCT PROFILE :
Tobslak TBYROSIL contains a unique blend of silane and
siloxane compounds that chemically react with silicates
below the surface of the substrate to form an insoluble,
water-repellent barrier.

PROPERTY PROFILE:
 Water based
 Protect concrete, brick, mortar and masonry from the
damaging effects of water intrusion.
 Can be sprayed or apply with brush onto horizontal
or vertical surfaces. Improves surface strength.
 Suitable for outdoor or indoor and enclosed
applications, offers low odor and low volatile organic
compounds (VOC’s)
 Gives protection to reinforcing steel from corrosion.
 Suppresses capillary water absorption.
 Strengthens the substrate and increases chemical
resistance.
 Deep protection against the effect of moisture from
behind. TBYROSIL reacts with moisture and travels as
far as water will carry it into the concrete matrix.
Depending on porosity of concrete, humidity and
water pressure, TBYROSIL will penetrate many inches
into concrete over time & seals the structure up to
water impermeable.
AREA OF SCOPE:
Concrete, block or brick walls and driveways, incl-
uding exposed aggregate.
Concrete surface made from concrete, brick, mortar,
tile, terra-cotta, plaster, stone, and limestone.
As a primer in many Tobslak waterproofing system.

APPLICATION SCOPE:
 For vertical waterproofing in splash water areas.
 Waterproofing against rising ground damp and non-standing
seepage.
 For waterproofing against ground damp on basement slabs
beneath swimming screeds.
 For strengthening of dusting concrete.
LIMITATIONS
 Over coating with water-based paints or sealers is not
recommended after curing .
 Maximum water resistance will be attained once the chemical
reaction is complete, typically 7-10 days.
 Not effective on non-silica substrates such as wood, vinyl,
asphalt, metals and painted or sealed surfaces.
Directions for use-
a) Borehole procedure "Injection of Masonry Work
against Capillary Rising Damp" in ground floors and
basements.
b) Apply with brush or spray onto horizontal or vertical
surfaces, or with a low pressure sprayer .
