During this section of my workshop feel free to have a open discussion on the
topic of affordable home ownership, renting, and/or
Maslow’s Pyramid of Needs.
9. In conclusion, affordable home ownership, stability, and improving quality of life is a basic
human need in my opinion. Not a fantasy- that is a convenient perspective, (maybe a
bias, sarcasm) choice of description for only a few people. At the end of my day, going
“home”, being in my own “space, home, with my choice of comforts, boundaries, and set
responsibilities.” Having a healthy place to call “home” is a basic human need, and sets a
healthy example for youth- in my opinion.
