Procurement Supervisor
An enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has a good understanding of the role and
responsibilities associated with being a Procurement Supervisor. Also providing leadership for
the purchasing dept. and motivating staffs to achieve maximum performance and efficiency.
Making sure that the procurement department works within all of the companies operational
Procedures.
o Managing a team of professional procurement staffs.
o To accomplish and achieve all activities involved in the purchase of materials from
overseas/local sources as per the company’s procedure and technique.
o Responsible for Order Placement Timing / Demand Alignment for trucks & spare parts,
Material Replacement and Supplier Performance.
o Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving suppliers’ performance and
Projecting Stock Levels through PO-GEN.
o Monitoring delivery times to ensure materials are on time.
o Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment.
o Logistics issues - Nomination of shipping lines, sea/air freight forwarders for ready
shipments (20ft/40ft contr.) with terms CIF, CFR, FOB, Ex-Works from suppliers
factory i.e. New Bremen, Green Castle (USA), Roding – Germany, Hanghzu & Quindao
– China, Taiwan, Italy, Poland & The Netherlands etc..
o Continuously source equivalent materials that are less expensive but confirm to the
specifications that should be acceptable to the customers.
o Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company’s benefit. Helping to
source alternative items for buyers and customers.
o Price negotiating with vendors through Special Price Request (SPR).
o Warranty claim procedure - Any manufacture defects or damages occurred during the
given warranty period, solving through warranty claim according to warranty terms
and condition.
o Full Control of Local and Overseas Purchasing related matters.
o Meetings with suppliers either to abroad or inside Saudi Arabia for further business
discussions.
o Joining Seminars at supplier’s facility for the announcement of New release models,
up-gradation or Training program of forklifts, as and when required.
o Promoting best practices across the company. Developing relationship with
distributors.

3. o Working to create and promote a safe working environment.
o Involved in Selling-off Excess, Damaged, Inventory and Stock.
o Keeping all suppliers programs current and accurate.
o Pricelists for all equipment & Spare parts, Pricing and margins are under our
supervision.
o Follow-up for supplier’s order acknowledgement with Ex-factory Due dates.
o Reserving manufacturer factory slots in advance for the trucks required urgently
based on customer’s special request to minimize delivery time.
o All Original Sea/Air freight Documents receiving and releasing to company’s clearing
agent to release shipments on time from the Port.
o Generating computer based (Greatplain program) Handling Equipment Purchase Codes
& System Purchase orders for each equipments & spare parts.
o Advising tentative products delivery dates to all Sales personnel to keep notifying end
users/clients.
o Updating all our sales staff about Suppliers Products Information Lead Time Analysis
on weekly basis.
o Independently corresponding with overseas suppliers and inter-departmental issues.

o To control and maintain supplier’s outstanding payments issues.
o Coordination with commissioning team / warehouse to expedite jobs.
o Daily, weekly progress reports and schedules.
