Project Name: Assurance - iXBRL Since July 2011
I am currently working as part of PwC’s iXBRL services team. This service offers various solutions for
companies required to submit iXBRL financial statements to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in
UK as part of their tax return package. Responsibilities of this role include:
 Matching of electronic tags to financial statement disclosures, documentation of judgments, opinions
and decisions made, and providing responses to general and technical queries.
 Frequent communication and coordination with PwC UK engagement teams, including PwC’s iXBRL
central team. This ensures that all expectations with regards to the quality and timeliness of
deliverables are met.
 The identification and resolution of technical accounting and iXBRL issues. This requires in-depth
knowledge of financial reporting under both UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as an understanding of the
technical iXBRL specification.
 Formatting of financial statements in Microsoft Word and Excel to ensure appropriate visual
presentation.
 Personal time management, monitoring of resources and delivering to strict deadlines.

2. ProjectName: FinancialStatements GeneralAssurance
I have worked in a project which is aimed at ensuring compliance with the disclosure requirements of, UK
GAAP and IFRS catering to the PwC clients. Work done includes:
 Auditing the accuracy in preparation of Financial Statement.
 Agreement of all financial information within the Financial Statements to supporting
documentation;
 Testing mathematical accuracy of the Financial Statements, Notes, other information, and
supporting documentation underlying the Financial Statements, as applicable;
 Agreement of prior period financial information to previously audited and/or reviewed financial
statements (e.g. prior year issued financial statements); and
 Reviewing disclosures in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS and the entire document for internal
consistency.
