Workshop is defined as assembled group of 10 to 25 person who
share common interest or problem.
It improve individual and skill of subject via intensive study,
research practice and discussion.

3. OBJECTIVE
Cognitive objective
 To solve problems of teaching profession
 To provide the philosophical and sociological background for
instructional and teaching situation
 To develop an understanding regarding use of them and
problem

4. OBJECTIVE
Psychomotor objective
 Develop proficiency for planning and organizing activities
 Develop skills to perform task independently
 To train the person by using different approaches of teaching

5. PROCEDURE
There are three stages:
 Presentation of theme of providing awareness
 Practice the approach for its applicability
 Evaluate the material prepared by the participant and follow up
programmed

6. SCOPE
 New form of lesson planning
 Action research projects for classroom problem
 Preparing instructional material or teaching model
 Workshop for microteaching
 Workshop for interactional analysis of technique
 Work for task construction

7. PANEL
A panel discussion or simply a panel, involves a group of people
gathered to discuss a topic in front of an audience.

It is used in educational institution to provide knowledge and
clarification of certain theories and principles.
Main objective are,
 To provide conceptual knowledge
 To give awareness of theories and principles
 To provide solution of certain principles

12. USES OF PANEL
 This technique encourage social learning
 The higher cognitive and affective objectives are achieved
 It is used to develop ability of problem solving and logical
thinking
 It develop capacity to respect other ideas, feeling and ability
of tolerance
 It provide opportunity of assimilation of theme and content

13. SYMPOSIUM
The symposium technique / forum serves as an excellent device
for informing an audience, crystalizing opinion and general
preparing the listeners for arriving at decision, policies, values
judgment or understanding.
