ENERGY CONSUMPTION
• Installation of more energy-efficient production equipment
• Detecting leaks in the compressed air
• Installation of steam traps on presses and insulation of furnaces.
• Better control of the processes of mixing rubber and small cycle times
reduces the energy consumption.
• Performing energy surveys and introduction of the ISO 50001 energy
management system.
• Reducing energy consumption during peak periods on the electricity
network.
• Surplus energy can be sold to the local district network.

WATER CONSUMPTION: Water issues are important to society
and business. The production facilities can have cooling systems
with re-circulated water and various actions can been taken to
reduce water consumption such as leak searches, training and
technical measures.
SAFE CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT: The Company objective
for safe chemical management should be that the chemicals deemed
as hazardous for humans and the environment should be replaced
with other substances are to be taken. Chemical legislation
(REACH) and laws concerning labelling

EMISSIONS TO THE ATMOSPHERE:
The following actions can reduce the impact on the climate:
· The purchase of “green” electricity.
· Use of Bio Gas.
· Use of recycled components, better transport logistics,
automobiles with less fuel consumption
RESOURCE-EFFICIENT USE OF MATERIALS:
By minimising spoilage, improving waste sorting at source
and minimising the waste, the production plants can use raw
materials more efficiently.
