CdSe-Fullerene Hybrid Nano-composite for Solar Energy

This document discusses a new type of nano-composite made of CdSe quantum dots and fullerene that shows promise for solar energy conversion. The nano-composite exhibits efficient electron transfer from the quantum dots to the fullerene. Experiments using transient absorption spectroscopy and transient infrared absorption spectroscopy provide insight into the electron transfer process and photoelectrochemical behavior of the nano-composite.
