About-
Central Team is a specialized team in Volvo/Mack/UD/Renault for the identification of parts released
from design team grouping and dividing it in purchase team on basis of vast manufacturing, segments
and purchasing experience, having more than ~1 lakh parts grouped into ~300 segments divided
among 500 buyers globally.
Responsibility-
Identification of parts and grouping them into segments and corresponding buyers.
Classification of segments based on manufacturing, material, design criteria, supplier diversity
Understanding the diversity of purchasing strategies globally and adopting the changes soon.
Handling two continents APAC and South America, supporting more than six projects, and
