Starting out as an apprentice with East Berkshire College through Capelli House of Beauty at
the age of 18. I have a bubbly personality which enabled me to build good relationships with
both clients and co-workers alike. It was at Capelli I built up my experience of hair and salon
life, working my way up to assistant manager and competent in the duties that this role required.
During this time my work was mostly concentrated on Colour/Colour Correction, Cutting/Re-
style, Chemical Work/Relaxer/Brazilian, Extensions/Weave and Afro Caribbean. I am now
looking for a role that will offer me opportunity for growth and a chance to broaden my
knowledge and technique and in return I offer loyalty, flexibility, quality of work, passion and a
dedication to growth of both myself and the brand I represent.

Personal Attributes
In my free time I love to fight, well controlled fighting anyway :) and attend twice a week up at
our school Future Taekwondo. After many year competing, gaining my Black Belt and claiming
various titles, I am now in the safety den of coaching whilst preparing others for the ring.
Taekwondo is always thrilling and keeps me active and healthy and more than able to defend
myself. It teaches you discipline, structure, loyalty a respect for all. It is part of who I am and a
tradition within the family.
Loving both sides of the world of fashion I have also gained experience of the industry through
modelling roles. This grew from a young age when I would model for various media assignments
and now am always eager to help out with local/charitable events both on and backstage.

Education and Qualifications - Enrolling on a 2 year NVQ level 2 course at East Berkshire College I
completed the course within just twelve months achieving 100% every module. After further discussion
with my assessor and mentor they felt I had no need to enrol for level 3 due to the colour work I was
already undertaking within my role in salon.
