Joseph Hart: Letter of Recommendation
I have known Joseph Hart since September 2014 when I was his lecturer and seminar tutor
for his first year Business Accounting Unit.
Joseph stood out on this unit as a student with both interest in the subject and clear ability.
Business Accounting is an introductory unit for students on general economics and business
degrees at the University of Portsmouth and Joseph excelled at the subject. He obtained a
pass in the unit with a mark of 80% and I am aware that his average first year grade across his
6 units was a very impressive 79%.
Joseph is a very hard working and likeable student and if he continues to apply himself as he
did in his first year he will obtain a well-deserved first class honour degree.
I am aware that Joseph is applying for a work placement at the moment in the area of finance
and I have no doubt in recommending him as an excellent placement student. Joseph will be a
real asset to whoever is fortunate to employ him.
