Mentor Qualities:
1. Must be considered an expert/ thought-leader in
their respective field.
2. Must be approachable (celebrities might not be
willing to give a (random) informational interview.
3. Should be able and willing to provide their
mentees with networking opportunities (i.e. help
them grow their contacts & professional
connections). In other words, a model mentor
provides not only information and insights into
their fields, but general guidance, as well
(preferably, on a regular basis).
