This interesting and engaging workshop is an excellent way to begin a discussion about company culture, why it is important, and how it can be improved for lasting results. A great topic executive retreats, leadership conferences, and executive teams. Past reviews and ratings have been outstanding. Based on my book, LEADERSHIP IN HIGH-PERFORMANCE ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURES, 2ND EDITION.
2. Is Your Organization….
Falling behind
the competition
today
Ill-prepared to
compete in the
future
Too slow to
execute
Quick to execute
but slow to think,
strategize, and
plan
Too slow to
innovate
Too slow or
ineffecitive to
integrate M&A’s
Too siloed to
collaborate
3. CULTURE AND PERFORMANCE
The Right Culture Can Be
a Competitive Advantage
for a Unit, Team, Division,
or Company
4. National Association of Corporate Directors
NACD, the authority on boardroom
practices, representing more than
17,000 board members released Blue
Ribbon Report on Culture as a
Corporate Asset on October 4, 2017
Calls on boards of directors take a
proactive approach to culture
oversight as a means to driving
success and long-term value creation
5. Impact of Culture
NACD found that organizations with strong,
positive cultures have been shown to
OUTPERFORM their peers on everything from
sales, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality
to profitability and productivity
Conversely, the absence of a healthy culture
can create or exacerbate significant risks.
Yet a recent survey shows that less than half of
directors reported that their boards assess the
alignment between the company’s purpose and
values and its strategy.
