2. ABSTRACT
SECRET COMMUNICATION USING CRYPTOGRAPHY AND
STEGANOGRAPHY BY USING MATLAB AND IMAGE
PROCESSING
Science and technology are evolving at a rapid pace in the new era of modern
science and technology. Data confidentiality is under threat all across the world, and the
threat is growing rapidly.
We offer a new method for hiding data using steganography techniques based on
the AES and RC5 algorithm cryptosystem in this study. Steganography is the art of
concealing hidden information behind digital images, videos, audios, and text in order to
conceal a secret communication. The cryptosystem is the technique that has improved our
method. The cover image’s visual quality is excellent, and no one can imagine how secret
information is transferred using this manner. This proposed approach and algorithm’s
flexibility is superior to those of other published algorithms. The AES and RC5 algorithms
are simple to use and appear to do a good job of concealing secret information.
