A2 Media coursework-How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

PLANNING AND EVALUATION STAGES?

3. Planning Stage
 In the planning stage the technologies I used were:
 Blogger- I used blogger to store notes and initial
ideas for my music video as it could be accessed
from anywhere and is easy to use.
 Youtube-ThroughYoutube I was able to look at
other music videos and this gave me ideas for my
own. I was also able to get lyrics of my own artists
song and download the mp3.
 E-mail- I used Microsoft office outlook and Gmail to
stay in touch with my teacher and to get permission
from my artist to use his song in my music video.

4. Development Stage
 In the development stage of my coursework the technologies I
used were:
 Adobe Premier Pro- I used Adobe premier pro to edit my music
video.This was software that I was already familiar with and
allowed me to easily edit my music video.
 A Cannon 1100- I used a cannon 1100 to film my music video, like
premier pro I was already familiar with his technology and this
allowed me to gather lots of shots and easily be able to film my
music video.
 E-mail- My e-mail allowed me to stay in contact with my teachers
and my actors.This allowed me to stay organised and efficient
during filming and allowed my time management to be effective.
 Blogger-This enabled me to store all of my production on my
blog and this gave me easy access to it and allowed me to
manage my production recources.

5. Evaluation Stage
 In the evaluation stage of my coursework I used:
 Prezi- I used this in my evaluation questions which allowed
me to present my evaluation question.
 Photoshop- I used this to create my 9 frame analysis of my
music video.
 Microsoft word- I used this to create the questionnaires
which I used in my audience analysis.
 Microsoft PowerPoint/ slideshare- I used this on one of my
evaluation questions and this allowed me to create a
presentation and then edit and improve it on slideshare.
 Adobe Premier Pro-This allowed me to edit my video
answer to one of the evaluation questions.

6. Blogger
 My blog on blogger could be considered the most
important technology as on this I was able to store all of
my work in one organised place and this would increase
the presentation of it and this allowed me to see
everything I had done and see what aspects I needed to
improve and finish.

7. Adobe Premier Pro
 Adobe premier pro allowed me to edit my
music video. I was already familiar on this
software and this meant I was able to easily
edit my music video.

8. Overall use of technology
 I think that my overall use of technology was
good, I learnt some new technologies and
developed many skills on technologies which
I had used in the past and this will help me in
any tasks that I perform in the future.
