1. SWOT
Strengths
After receiving audience feedback I feel that my
strengths are mostly when it comes to using Adobe
Premier Pro and Photoshop as many people
commented on my editing skills (including sound) and
my title sequence which I used photoshop to edit each
drip if the hand. People said that the cutting of each
clip was well timed to correspond to the tense
atmosphere I was trying to create throughout my
opening Adobe Premier Pro is used throughout the
media industry, including First Cut, to edit films down
to their final cut.
Weaknesses
I feel that Adobe after effects was my weakness
as I didn’t know how to use it to my advantage in
order to create my title sequence. I did watch a
few YouTube tutorials however I decided to do
most of the blood movement manually and edit
the pictures using Photoshop as I feel more
comfortable using Photoshop
Opportunities
Looking forward towards A2 media, I would like to
work on how to use adobe after effects more
effectively so I can use it to my advantage whilst
doing my music video. I feel that the best way to
learn more about adobe affer effects is to use
YouTube Tutorials
Threats
My most threatening thing is that I have none
of the adobe software at home so have to rely
on all the equipment at school in order to do
any editing or sound work. This could
potentially have an effect on my time
management as I have to do every computer
based thing in school.
