answering incoming enquiries by email, telephone, written correspondence and in person.
 Providing general public information relevant to the Mining Act 1971 and Regulations.
 Analysing, capturing, indexing and classifying records in Mineral Energy Records File Finder (MERFF) and
the Tenement Management system (TMS) and refer to action officers.
 Ensure filing is maintained in the Mineral Tenements Records room and ensure inactive records are
removed for sentencing and maintenance
 Receiving revenue by recording incoming cheques on MS Excel Spreadsheet and forward to Accounting
Officer for receipting. Maintain automated data records by verifying that information pertaining to mining
tenements is entered on the database to accurately reflect the Mining Register.
 Conducting fringe benefits tax auditing administrative checks on SA Government Motor Log Vehicle sheets
