AML UCP Migration Project
Application Description:-
In order to curb the menace of money laundering financial institutions across globe need to be more aware
about their customer’s behavior, associated risk factors & to keep vigilance on each transact of money
inflow-outflow from accounts observing the indulgence in illegal practices with compliance to RBI guidelines
Project Description :-
Migration of AML Application from Existing Solaris Platform to Linux Hitachi UCP Platform along with
DB Upgrade,Flash Back and “In-memory” functionality.
• Migration of DB Objects from existing Platform to Linux Platform
• Migration of SAS Application Objects/files from existing platform to Linux platform
• Enable IN Memory feature by Altering DB objects (to Place tables in memory)
• Fine tuning SQL queries with indexing, table partitioning, Parallelism, specify optimizer hints
in SELECT ,UPDATE STATISTICS, Use EXPLAIN,etc

UCIC DB Upgrade Project

M-UCIC application is used for identifying customers having multiple customer ids in source systems and

2. assigning unique identification code (UCIC) for all the customers entering into any new relationship as well
as existing customers.
Project Description :-
Implemented DB Upgrade from existing 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2 with additional / new IN Memory feature of
Oracle 12c wherein there was a provision to place DB objects in a defined SGA pool area to fasten the DB
operations. This was the FIRST application to go-live on ORACLE 12C with In-Memory feature in HDFC Bank.

SOA- CIF is a collection of services which communicate with each other. This communication involves simple
data passing along with two or more services coordinating some activity. The request and subsequent
response connections are defined in a way that is understandable to both the service consumer and service
provider. Below are few services in SOA-CIF
1.CIF - to check Customer Band & Demographics
2.eKYC - to fetch Customer Demographics & Biometric details from UIDAI
3.DNC - to check customer status from DNC
4. PAN Validation- to validate PAN from NSDL site.

• Plugins and IHS installation & configuration compatible with latest WAS 8.5 version
• JDK 1.7 - 64 Bit Installation & WAS 8.5 switch over configuration process
• WCT - Web sphere Customization toolbox installation and configuration for HTTP & Web
Server mapping

Data Base Migration :
• Data Migration from Oracle 10G to 11G on UAT setup

SAS Phase I Code Changes & Configuration :
• SAS SOA Job Code changes including compatibility check of SAS binaries with Oracle 11G (Prod & UAT)
• SAS Library (Metadata) creation for connectivity with upgraded DB (Prod & UAT)
eKYC Process Improvement :
Migrated eKYC service on WAS 8.5 over Two additional instances, while there was only one instance avail in Old
