2. Created numerous ordinary to complex queries involving multi-table joins, Union, correlated subqueries, CTE’s, views and XML techniques for diverse business requirements. Tuned and optimized queries by altering database design, analyzing different query options, and indexing strategies.
3. Designed a bank application according to business requirements, and implemented robust stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers that employed best practices to meet the required functionalities. Utilized XML for import and export of data.
4. Created an ETL solution that reads Product, Vendor, Order and Shipment from CSV files on network share into a SQL server data base using SSIS best practices. The solution validated incoming data and performed notification when jobs were complete. The order data used to generate reports using (such as Tablix control) SSRS 2008 reporting functionality. The reports were setup to automatically deliver linked report based on Standard subscriptions.
5.
6. Participated in numerous Data Modeling sessions with DBA, reviewed clustered and non-clustered indexing options, performance and stress testing in the QA environment prior to production implementation.
7. Added new columns to existing tables modified stored procedures and user defined functions in SQL Server. As part of this project participated in numerous meetings with Business, Quality Assurance and DBA area to provide code review and status update.
8. Designed, developed, coded and tested new screens for front end portion of Reserve System application in VB.NET to interact with SQL server 2005 database for data retrieval and data modification. .
