5. Can you please tell us what your labs need the most
in terms of training and capacity building?
Laboratory needs
3 categories are concerned:
Researchers and Post-Doc: Short term trainings; Update methods
and technics, new instruments, equipment’s, data analysis,
interpretation, modelling, smart analysis adapted to environmental
challenge on soil, water and plant pollution and efficiently uses of non
conventional waters (brackish/saline/ treated wastewaters) and
biosolids in agriculture.
Technical staff: Short and long term trainings; Confirm and adjust the
knowledge and Initiation for using the news methods, technics and
instruments and adapted them to our national and local conditions.
PhD Students: Short and long term trainings in qualified lab for
specifics analyses according the thesis subject. Data analysis and
interpretation and preparing scientific papers.
6. Can you please tell us what your expectations on
GLOSOLAN and NENALAB are?
Expectations from GLOSOLAN
Our expectations from GLOSOLAN and NENALAB are according our Lab needs,
Create a networking and a consortium at different levels: national, regional
and international with sharing experiences, researchers, post-doc, technical
staff and students stays.
Participate to working group for a some specific field of using non
conventional waters and sludges and its effects on crops, soils, waters and the
environmental impacts and health risks.
To be a Reference Lab. and Excellence Lab. for some specifics analyses at
different geographic level.
To be a task force on theses fields and participate in financing projects to
support the common activities, strength the capacity building of all the Lab
staff, exchange visits, and modernize the Lab. (building and equipment) to be
performant and competitive.
