This must minimally ensure that all of the responsibilities in PRINCE2’s role descriptions are fulfilled • Document the rules for delegating change authority responsibilities, if required • Define its approach to communicating and engaging with stakeholders.

Projects can only begin if justified. Projects must remain justified throughout their lifecycle. Desirable: balance of costs, benefits and risks Viable: able to deliver the products Achievable: whether the use of products is likely to result in envisaged outcomes and resulting benefits.

Outcome: The result of the change derived from using the project’s outputs. Benefit: The measurable improvement resulting from an outcome. Dis-benefit: An outcome or consequence that one or more stakeholders views as negative. Example : Output: New Sales System Outcome: Sales orders are processed more quickly and accurately Benefits: Costs are reduced by 10%. Volume of sales increased by 15% and revenue increased by 10% annually.
