What does a Bar Staff do?
Bar Staff are not only the friendly faces greeting your
customers from behind the bar, but they’re also responsible
to make sure the bar runs smoothly by keeping the bar
area clean and restocking. Taking orders, advising
customers about current promotions and mixing drinks are
just some of the customer-facing responsibilities for Bar
Staff. However, to ensure bar service can operate
efficiently, they also monitor stock, restocking when
needed, quickly react to spills or risk.

Bar Staff duties and responsibilities
• Preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-
alcoholic beverages
• Attractive with the customers and advising them about
current promotions
• Checking customers identification and age verification
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including
quickly responding to spills and other health and safety
risk
• Monitoring and restock as needed
• Serving food and snacks
• Clearing tables, wiping surfaces and operating the
dishwasher to make sure many glassware is available
