INTERNAL NETWORKS MANAGEMENT
Contract Management is the process of handling
contracts from vendors, partners, customers or
employees. The business world is changing. New
ways of driving revenue are forcing companies to
create the way they manage the customer life-
cycle- making contract management more
important than ever before.
7. 7
INTERNAL NETWORKS MANAGEMENT
Managing up and managing down is studied as part of
management studies, and details how a middle manager should
effectively deal with his or her manager and with his or her
subordinates. Additionally, managing up on its own may be a
useful skill for a subordinate who in turn does not manage anyone.

Win-Win: Strategically partner with your top
competitors in this context can take the form
of joint ventures, intellectual-property
licensing, outsourcing agreements or even
cooperative research. All of these offer the
potential for a win-win relationship with a
nominal competitor, rather than a win-lose
deal, as long as both sides can remain
humble and not try to dominate the
relationship.
