It is ok as an antifreeze warning, a warning when the room temperature is out of normal etc. No additional cost. All temperature measuring modes are supported.

Firmware Important is to understand why… What should trigger measurement, what should trigger recording of it, what should trigger sending of data, what redundancy/reliability do I need We support 3 basic modes that can be combined and redundancy can be switched on: 1. Report predefined temperature change 2. Report predefined threshold overstepping 3. Measure in predefined time intervals, aggregate and report periodically
  12. 12. Firmware 1. Report temperature change Mode name - Temperature change alert This is useful if you want e.g. to measure room temperature. You dont care if the temperature is 25°C all the time and fluctuates by 1,5°C. You just need to know when the temperature changes. So you can measure e.g. each minute and few messages are triggered when changing from night to day temperatures end vice versa. You can also run this mode with redundant messages
  13. 13. Firmware 2. Report predefined threshold overstepping Mode name - Temperature threshold alert This is useful if you want e.g. to measure fridge. You are only interested if the temperature breaks the boundary. You can setup 3 different thresholds. You can also run this mode with redundant messages

Measure in predefined time intervals, aggregate and report periodically Mode name: Periodic alert This is useful if because of regulatory requirements you need to measure and report temperature in periodic time intervals. So e.g. you can measures each 20 seconds (for other watchdogs to report immediately), record each 5 minutes, send a message each 15 minutes with last 3 temp recordings. Plus you can report past 2 messages, so if messages get lost, the IoT platform will reconstruct all the data. All the parameters are configurable via downlinks.
