This document provides information about promoting a festival called Central Fest. It discusses the importance of attracting an audience for the various events. It then lists the planned events for Central Fest and identifies possible target audiences for each one. The events include nail/face painting for small children, teenagers and mothers; a bouncy castle for children under 13; a photoshoot for families and friends of various ages; information stalls from organizations for parents/carers over age 14; food stalls for all attendees; and performances from the local school for everyone.

Promoting your festival
The success of your festival will depend on your managing to attract an audience for the
various events being staged.
Finding your target audience
Consider your programme of events one by one.
Write a brief description of each event and identify the possible target audience(s) for
each.
