You could begin by looking for evidence of business sponsorship and/or public funding
(from arts organisations or local authorities) in the promotional materials.

The Vfestival and T4 in the beach are big known festival that also has big business
sponsorship and make their money by selling tickets. Where love music, hate racism and
Ladyfest are much smaller local festival who do fundraising as well as sell tickets to raise
money.
