                     Promoting your festival
                     The success of your festival will depend on your managing to attract an audience for the
                     various events being staged.

                     Finding your target audience

                     Consider your programme of events one by one.

                     Write a brief description of each event and identify the possible target audience(s) for
                     each.

Nail bar                                                                The target audience are aim at Girls teens. The
                                                                        professional nail specialists give the girls options of
                                                                        what colour and design they want for their nails and
                                                                        also this gives the girls an opportunity to ask the nail
                                                                        experts on how they can keep their nails healthy and
                                                                        how to look after it.
Face Painting                                                           Face painting is aimed at young children. This event is
                                                                        just for them to have a face paint that they can how off
                                                                        to their friend and parents.
Cinema Room                                                             The cinema room is aimed at families. This gives them
                                                                        the opportunity to spend family time together and have
                                                                        a good time watching a comedy film.
Balloon Maker                                                           Balloon making is aimed at the children. This is for
                                                                        them to have a designed of an item they want to carry
                                                                        around with.
Women’s Institution Café                                                The targeted audience is mainly aimed at women but
                                                                        also children. The event sells refreshments and cakes.
Idea store (stall)                                                      This is aimed at everyone. The idea stall gives out gift
                                                                        and information about the local community.

Citizenship Stall - Registering to vote                                 This is aimed at adults and this gives them the
                                                                        opportunity to vote if they haven’t done so.

Raising Awareness- Citizenship                                          This is aimed at everyone who cares about their
                                                                        environment and issues that affects the local
                                                                        community to vote for the best way to improve it.
Paramedics                                                              This is aimed at everyone who has health issues and
                                                                        needs help to overcome it. And also the paramedics
                                                                        came to support anyone that might be injured at the
                                                                        festival.
Performance                                                             The performance is for everyone to come along and
                                                                        enjoy band music and R&B music and possibly dance to
                                                                        the beats.
Archery                                                                 The archery is aimed at everyone who attends the

Bouncy castle                                                           There are two bouncy castles; the bigger bouncy castle
                                                                        is aimed at the teenager and the smaller one for the
                                                                        children. This is a way for people to who don’t know
                                                                        each other to have fun together.
Photography                                                             The photography is for families and everyone to have a
