1. Who would be the audience for your media product?
My audience is aimed at primarily teenagers, mixing both males and females. They'd
generally like pop-punk, alternative and rock music. Most stereotypes for this genre is that
the audience enjoy concert-going, photography, and browsing websites like 'Tumblr' and
'Twitter'. The stereotypical clothing for this genre is dark clothing (which is shown on the
main images of my magazine), plaid, ripped jeans, shorts with knee-high socks/tights),
vans/converse/DM's and colorufully dyed hair. Their makeup tends to be heavier on the
eyes, with winged eyeliner, and jewellery sticks to chokers and band/festival wristbands as
well as multiple piercings ranging from lip, nose, and a lot in their ears. Boys are also
generalised to have a lot of tattoos and wear more hats.
