Volunteer Experiences
• April, 2009 I attended a volunteer job in Gulou
  District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. This activity was a
  ceremony for a project. The aim of this project was care
  lonely elder, whose children left them.
• we needed to organize this activity and ensured this
  activity went successfully.
• I placed chairs fitly and delivered the presents to many
  elders. Some of elders were disabled, I helped them to sit.
  Moreover, I also needed to persuade cars and bicycles to
  take a devious route in case affected the activities, for this
  activity took place in a block. When this activity came to an
  end, I also put all hairs away to keep traffic flowing
  smoothly.
• this volunteer activity trained organization and
  communication skill. After it, the sponsor wrote a thank you
  letter to my school.

Graduation
• I attended high school for three years. After three years
  study, all students need to attend college entrance
  examination. The score depends on which level you are in. It
  usually has three levels. Level decides which university you
  can go. Actually, most of parents hope their children attend a
  famous university.
• If I wanted to get a brilliant future, I need to attend a good
  university.
• I tried my best to study harder. If I happened some questions I
  didn't understand, I would ask my classmates and teachers.
• During these three years, I made many good friends. I strived
  for college entrance examination together. I felt so happy
  even if the process was so hard. That was our memory.
  Finally, I got 504 in exam. That is second level. I thought I tried
  my best even if I didn't do well.
Niagara Falls
Travel
• My friends and I planned to go to Niagara Falls for
  three days.
• Task: that was our first to go travel in Canada. I
  must consider which way is a good way to
  arrive, which was best appropriate and which hotel I
  can choose. The most important was what places
  worth going. I wrote them down and got a travel
  schedule.
• I searched the information about transportation and
  knew about prices of them and situation. Then, I
  chose Greyhound Bus. When I arrived there, I got
  the map of Niagara Falls. Because I needed to
  know how to get to hotel. After checked in, I asked
  the receptionist how to get to destination in several
  days.
• I enjoyed our journey and saw beautiful scenery.
Team Work
• Situation: This semester, I had an assignment in GNED 500,
  which is group work.
• Task: I needed to find a social problem in our world. And,
  analyzed this problem by contrasting two countries. This
  assignment consists of three steps. First was proposal, which
  required us to find the root of social problems and answered
  some related questions. Second was report, which needed us to
  choose one of social models to analyze problems and got
  solution to these problems. Third was presentation, I presented
  our result of analysis to our classmates. Let them recognize this
  social problem and try their best to solve problems.
• Action: I allocated jobs to each member, then discussed in the
  library in order to find a social problem. Moreover, I searched
  some related problems on the Internet. By this way, I finished
  the proposal and report. As to the presentation, I practiced
  several times before I made presentation. That made us fluency
  and was familiar with the contents.
• Result: Through this group work, I trained organization, team
  work and presentation skills. Finally, I got a satisfy result.
IELTS
•
                       Certificates from high school. I
    I wanted to study broad when I graduated
  chose SPP(Student Partners Program) plan, which is the
  project between Canada and China. The requirement for entry
  was passing IELTS
• I needed to get IELTS certification, at least 5.5 points.
• When I attended University, I also needed to study hard in
  IELTS.I could insisted in studying in library everyday for a
  year. I trained my listening, when I walked or ate. I also
  practiced writing and reading everyone. When I finished it, I
  could evaluate it by myself. I also needed to find teachers to
  modify my writing. In this way, I could know the mistakes of
  my writing. As to speaking, I always collected
  questions, which were tested in every IELTS tests. I used
  them as practice. In order to improve the skills to reading, I
  took part in IELTS courses. The methods I got could help me
  answer questions quickly and correctly.
• I got 5.5 points after my hard working. I could come to

  • 3. Volunteer Experiences • April, 2009 I attended a volunteer job in Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. This activity was a ceremony for a project. The aim of this project was care lonely elder, whose children left them. • we needed to organize this activity and ensured this activity went successfully. • I placed chairs fitly and delivered the presents to many elders. Some of elders were disabled, I helped them to sit. Moreover, I also needed to persuade cars and bicycles to take a devious route in case affected the activities, for this activity took place in a block. When this activity came to an end, I also put all hairs away to keep traffic flowing smoothly. • this volunteer activity trained organization and communication skill. After it, the sponsor wrote a thank you letter to my school.
  • 5. Graduation • I attended high school for three years. After three years study, all students need to attend college entrance examination. The score depends on which level you are in. It usually has three levels. Level decides which university you can go. Actually, most of parents hope their children attend a famous university. • If I wanted to get a brilliant future, I need to attend a good university. • I tried my best to study harder. If I happened some questions I didn't understand, I would ask my classmates and teachers. • During these three years, I made many good friends. I strived for college entrance examination together. I felt so happy even if the process was so hard. That was our memory. Finally, I got 504 in exam. That is second level. I thought I tried my best even if I didn't do well.
  • 7. Travel • My friends and I planned to go to Niagara Falls for three days. • Task: that was our first to go travel in Canada. I must consider which way is a good way to arrive, which was best appropriate and which hotel I can choose. The most important was what places worth going. I wrote them down and got a travel schedule. • I searched the information about transportation and knew about prices of them and situation. Then, I chose Greyhound Bus. When I arrived there, I got the map of Niagara Falls. Because I needed to know how to get to hotel. After checked in, I asked the receptionist how to get to destination in several days. • I enjoyed our journey and saw beautiful scenery.

  • 9. Team Work • Situation: This semester, I had an assignment in GNED 500, which is group work. • Task: I needed to find a social problem in our world. And, analyzed this problem by contrasting two countries. This assignment consists of three steps. First was proposal, which required us to find the root of social problems and answered some related questions. Second was report, which needed us to choose one of social models to analyze problems and got solution to these problems. Third was presentation, I presented our result of analysis to our classmates. Let them recognize this social problem and try their best to solve problems. • Action: I allocated jobs to each member, then discussed in the library in order to find a social problem. Moreover, I searched some related problems on the Internet. By this way, I finished the proposal and report. As to the presentation, I practiced several times before I made presentation. That made us fluency and was familiar with the contents. • Result: Through this group work, I trained organization, team work and presentation skills. Finally, I got a satisfy result.

  • 11. Certificates from high school. I I wanted to study broad when I graduated chose SPP(Student Partners Program) plan, which is the project between Canada and China. The requirement for entry was passing IELTS • I needed to get IELTS certification, at least 5.5 points. • When I attended University, I also needed to study hard in IELTS.I could insisted in studying in library everyday for a year. I trained my listening, when I walked or ate. I also practiced writing and reading everyone. When I finished it, I could evaluate it by myself. I also needed to find teachers to modify my writing. In this way, I could know the mistakes of my writing. As to speaking, I always collected questions, which were tested in every IELTS tests. I used them as practice. In order to improve the skills to reading, I took part in IELTS courses. The methods I got could help me answer questions quickly and correctly. • I got 5.5 points after my hard working.
