Introduction
•
Study on education, includes the most sensitive part of
humanism.Education as a symbol for development of the society belongs
the most essential & delicate proportions. Moreover, the complicated form
of learning-teaching activities, causes the duties of education system more
harder. The subject of research on education consists of several
parameters.Teacher-oriented research is from the modern parameters of
educational research which observes the professional needs of teacher for
teaching management.
•
Nowadays, actional research has been considered in implementation of
study programs. One of the problems of educational performers is
extending the cooperative research among the teachers in classrooms as
the most useful program of professional teacher training.Through this
way,the teachers get the opportunity of implementation & evaluation. In
order to approach the success in their performance, they need the
professional skills for knowledge development.
•
this essay provides the backgrounds of improvement of teachers by
implementation of educational responsibilities. Internship4 as the
last stage of professional teacher training completes 3 previous stages
of internship which the students passed them for reaching
proficiency. This process is important because in addition to revision of
all deeds of that time, teaches the most important part as
cooperation.
•
Interns get the opportunity to cooperate with each other through the
implementation & evaluation & discover the related affairs about
learning programs, operate them & at the end have group evaluation
about each other’s educational actions.
•
In this process, the teachers analyze the obstacles of learning by
benefiting from group meditation.
•
Internship1 passes with the most concentration & writing reviews to
•
Get more familiar with the responsibilities of each stuff of school.
•
Internship2 was the firs examen of ownself front students & it should
be done based on our background knowledge of teaching & our
toughts.
•
Internship 3 the intern gets ready for teaching professionally & most
of their time passes on teaching & recognizing the modernstrategies.
•
Internship4 has some goals such as making a field for sharing
knowledge & teacher students’ expriences & promoting the
motivation among them & also making mutual interaction between
teachers.
First chapter
Lesson Study Process
•
By the consultations with my teacher,She recommended me to
choose the last lesson of tenth grade because the previous lessons
may be boring for students.By research on internships 1&2&3 &
alsogathering information,we found that all books ofsecond grade of
high school are based on CLT,which has been written based on group
working & making interaction between students. So my friends & I
decided to implement our activities on one of the lessons of tenth
grade. This lesson has been written in such a way that includes the
development of students’ communication about their own affairs
such about favorite food/drink/fruit.And also is about the natural
needs of human about feeling of hunger & thirst & the ways to
remove these needs.
Conceptual program design
Key Concept Extraction
•
Through our study on internships1&2&3 with my friends and also
gathering information,we found that the books of second grade of
high school have been planned based on CLT method. It is formulated
based on group working & making interaction between students. So
we decided to choose lesson 8 of this book as the lesson to design &
work on it.
Aptitude norms design
First norm: learning related vocabularies
1-The student should be able to comprehend the meaning of this lesson’s
vocabularies.
2-The student should be able to separate the words related to food & drinks
from each other.
3-The student should be able to learn picture dictionary well.
Second norm:The ability of talking about favorite food
1-The student should be able to say his own favorite food or drink in a simple
sentence.
2-The student should be able to answer teacher’s question about his
interests.
•
3-The student should be able to talk to his friend about his feelings of
hunger or thirst.
•
Specification of Functional Assignments
•
As a functional assignment,I drew a table which had three rows &
three colomns. Each member of the family is placed in 1 row & 2
colomn of them get filled with their favorite food or drink and
students should fill the table about the favorite foods of their family
mebers as assignment at their home.
Making Fundamental Questions
•
My friends & I faced with the question that how can we encounter
our students with learning situation. This level eases the way of
reaching goals & success.Reaching this level shows the appropriacy of
teacher’s function especially in teaching.
Design of Learning Assignments
•
First I showed them some caroon pictures with their favorite food on their
hands. Then,I asked them to say what they had understood. If they couldn’t
be able to talk about every cartoon characters’ favorite book,I asked again
in a different way that what are the chracters’ favorite food?
•
For reminding the vocabularies,I showed them slides which consisted of
pictures of fruits that they have been studied.Next I asked them to repeat
the vocabularies after me.I questioned them:
•
-Do you know the meaning of favorite?
•
If they could answer right,I wrote the synonyme of word on the board. Then
they repeated the word again after me.
•
By using the slides,I started to introduce each word.for example:Jerry likes
•
Cheese and by using Jerry’s mask on my face,I told:
•
I am Jerry. My favorite food is cheese.
•
Then I talked about my favorites. For example:
•
My favorite fruit is orange.
•
My favorite drink is milk.
•
My favorite food is Kebab.
•
Then I asked them about their favorite foods or drinks to answer
individually.
•
I divided students in groups of 4 members. So I shared each group a paper
having 3pictures of animals on it like a money with a banana that it is
thinking about it and the sentence of “My favorite………” has been written
near the picture. They should fill the sentences and after that by my
selection, one of the students came near the board & read the sentences
on the board loudly.
•
As an assignment,I drew a table on the board & asked them to fill the
empty parts of the table by their new taughts.
•
Producing Educational Materials
•
Samaneh & I for the performance of Farzaneh needed some pictures
for getting showed on powerpoint & also making masks. The pictures
were in two groups:Some of them were just the pics of animational
character’s faces and the rest were the pics of characters near their
favorite foods. We searched the pics on Google & then got scans of
them, after printing them & transfer the pictures with their favorite
foods to powerpoint slides. And the incomplete sentences down each
sentence.
Guidance of Learninig Process
•
Samaneh started roll calling the students in order to set discipline
among them & announced that her performance is going to be
recorded.32 students were present at class. So she displayed the
powerpoint slides that has prepared before. She started the class with
general greeting. She demanded the students to look at the pictures
carefully & say what they have comprehended. She displayed the
pictures again & students staretd talking about their favorites. Then
she repeated the words again & asked the students to repeat after
her individually,in group or orally.Samaneh was repeating the words
with students & correcting their pronounciation mistakes. When the
students couldn’t pronounce “ice cream”,She was forced to ask the
students to repeat it all.She was trying to use body language to give
•
Feedback from them properly. When we received to pronounciation of
“water”,they pronounced it false for several times because their teacher
had pronounced it incorrectly & it had carvened in their minds. After a
while,we felt that students are sleepy.so Samaneh opened the windows &
turned on the lights.Next,we turned off the computer & extracted the
animational masks out of my bag.Samaneh placed the pooh’s mask front
his face & said:I am pooh.My favorite food is honey. She repeated this
sentence several times & wanted them to repeat. One of them had problem
in pronounciation of that sentence,so Samaneh shortened the sentences in
short parts & asked her to repeat part by part. This way helped her to
pronounce the whole sentence appropriately. After working with
masks,Farzaneh said some sentences about her favorites.
•
My favorite food is rice & Kebab.
•
My favorite drink is tea
•
And asked:
•
What is your favorite food,Narges?
•
What is your favorite drink,Elaheh?
•
Unlike our demand, all of them could be able to answer the questions
correctly.
•
Revision
•
Positive Points:
•
1-Use of animational & cartoon characters in teaching
•
2-Before question of teacher, she uses more samples for better
comprehension.
•
3-For easening the pronounciation,She changes the sentence of them in
short parts.
•
4-Explanation of teacher’s way of teaching
•
5-tone of teacher’s voice was not monotonous
•
Negative Points:
•
1-Not doing the required assignments
•
2-Students had English two sequential sessions in one day.
•
3-The physical condition of the class was not suitable.
•
4-The teacher should use more proper feedbacks.(good, very good,…)
•
5-The teacher should use more body movements for teaching.
Chapter 2:My Narrative from Internship 4
•
Reports:
•
Acccording to the previous terms, internship 4 hold by several sessions. We
got familiar with the conceptual program at the first session & professor
Moradi took so many examples about this concept.Conceptual program
shows the general attitude of the person from the related subject’s
function. They talked to us about the time of the class. After that according
to the the majority votes, every 4 student made a group & finally by sharing
their own comments,we decided to choose one of the lessons of vision
books. So we started drawing a conceptual program about the book of
tenth grade. At whole, the professor divided us in groups to refer to schools
& before that he had chosen our schools too.Our group included Samaneh
& Farzaneh & I.We chose the book of Vision 1 & started reading the book
to have review on it before going to class & getting ready to unexpected
questions.
•
The next day,we shared our comments about that lesson.Eventually,we decided
to choose the lesson of “my village” for our presentation. After reviewing the
lesson,we started making powerpoint which had needed lots of related pictures
about the lesson. After completing the initial works,we gathered together &
Samaneh took the responsibility of presentation. It took about 45 minutes of the
class.

Form C:Self-evaluation
•
What do I do about internship4 & its terminology? Internship 4 is based on group work, which is evaluated
& implemented in the class after choosing the subject
& designing a learning unit & learning plan.
What questions do I have in the field of internship 4 How to design a suitable learning unit?
& its applied terminology? How much does this process affect an intern to become a
teacher?
How can it be improved?
The answer I found for my questions By choosing an appropriate topic & getting help from the
textbook, you can design a suitable learning unit.
My suggestions An implementation of a single learning unit is suitable for
a meeting & it was better to devote more than one sessio
for the learning unit
Addision
•
Lesson Plan features:
•
1-The foundation of lesson plan is a consistent betterment.
•
2-Lesson plan is focused on students’ learning.
•
3- Lesson plan is a kind of participatory cooperation
•
4-Lesson plan emphasis over the development of education based on the
condition
•
Lesson plan is like a research chain which teachers study on lesson programs’
contents through it.This kind of study,is based on group, qualitative, participatory
& consistent learning of educational grounders.Lesson plan enables the teachers
more professional. So lesson plan tries to strengthen the cooperation of
participatory research for betterment of educational scenarios.

  • 8. First chapter Lesson Study Process • By the consultations with my teacher,She recommended me to choose the last lesson of tenth grade because the previous lessons may be boring for students.By research on internships 1&2&3 & alsogathering information,we found that all books ofsecond grade of high school are based on CLT,which has been written based on group working & making interaction between students. So my friends & I decided to implement our activities on one of the lessons of tenth grade. This lesson has been written in such a way that includes the development of students’ communication about their own affairs such about favorite food/drink/fruit.And also is about the natural needs of human about feeling of hunger & thirst & the ways to remove these needs.
  • 10. Key Concept Extraction • Through our study on internships1&2&3 with my friends and also gathering information,we found that the books of second grade of high school have been planned based on CLT method. It is formulated based on group working & making interaction between students. So we decided to choose lesson 8 of this book as the lesson to design & work on it.
  • 11. Aptitude norms design First norm: learning related vocabularies 1-The student should be able to comprehend the meaning of this lesson’s vocabularies. 2-The student should be able to separate the words related to food & drinks from each other. 3-The student should be able to learn picture dictionary well. • 13. Making Fundamental Questions • My friends & I faced with the question that how can we encounter our students with learning situation. This level eases the way of reaching goals & success.Reaching this level shows the appropriacy of teacher’s function especially in teaching.
  • 14. Design of Learning Assignments • First I showed them some caroon pictures with their favorite food on their hands. Then,I asked them to say what they had understood. If they couldn’t be able to talk about every cartoon characters’ favorite book,I asked again in a different way that what are the chracters’ favorite food? • For reminding the vocabularies,I showed them slides which consisted of pictures of fruits that they have been studied.Next I asked them to repeat the vocabularies after me.I questioned them: • -Do you know the meaning of favorite? • If they could answer right,I wrote the synonyme of word on the board. Then they repeated the word again after me. • By using the slides,I started to introduce each word.for example:Jerry likes
  • 15. • Cheese and by using Jerry’s mask on my face,I told: • I am Jerry. My favorite food is cheese. • Then I talked about my favorites. For example: • My favorite fruit is orange. • My favorite drink is milk. • My favorite food is Kebab. • Then I asked them about their favorite foods or drinks to answer individually. • I divided students in groups of 4 members. So I shared each group a paper having 3pictures of animals on it like a money with a banana that it is thinking about it and the sentence of “My favorite………” has been written near the picture. They should fill the sentences and after that by my selection, one of the students came near the board & read the sentences on the board loudly.
  • 16. • As an assignment,I drew a table on the board & asked them to fill the empty parts of the table by their new taughts. • Producing Educational Materials • Samaneh & I for the performance of Farzaneh needed some pictures for getting showed on powerpoint & also making masks. The pictures were in two groups:Some of them were just the pics of animational character’s faces and the rest were the pics of characters near their favorite foods. We searched the pics on Google & then got scans of them, after printing them & transfer the pictures with their favorite foods to powerpoint slides. And the incomplete sentences down each sentence.
  • 17. Guidance of Learninig Process • Samaneh started roll calling the students in order to set discipline among them & announced that her performance is going to be recorded.32 students were present at class. So she displayed the powerpoint slides that has prepared before. She started the class with general greeting. She demanded the students to look at the pictures carefully & say what they have comprehended. She displayed the pictures again & students staretd talking about their favorites. Then she repeated the words again & asked the students to repeat after her individually,in group or orally.Samaneh was repeating the words with students & correcting their pronounciation mistakes. When the students couldn’t pronounce “ice cream”,She was forced to ask the students to repeat it all.She was trying to use body language to give
  • 18. • Feedback from them properly. When we received to pronounciation of “water”,they pronounced it false for several times because their teacher had pronounced it incorrectly & it had carvened in their minds. After a while,we felt that students are sleepy.so Samaneh opened the windows & turned on the lights.Next,we turned off the computer & extracted the animational masks out of my bag.Samaneh placed the pooh’s mask front his face & said:I am pooh.My favorite food is honey. She repeated this sentence several times & wanted them to repeat. One of them had problem in pronounciation of that sentence,so Samaneh shortened the sentences in short parts & asked her to repeat part by part. This way helped her to pronounce the whole sentence appropriately. After working with masks,Farzaneh said some sentences about her favorites. • My favorite food is rice & Kebab. • My favorite drink is tea
  • 19. • And asked: • What is your favorite food,Narges? • What is your favorite drink,Elaheh? • Unlike our demand, all of them could be able to answer the questions correctly. • Revision • Positive Points: • 1-Use of animational & cartoon characters in teaching • 2-Before question of teacher, she uses more samples for better comprehension. • 3-For easening the pronounciation,She changes the sentence of them in short parts.
  • 20. • 4-Explanation of teacher’s way of teaching • 5-tone of teacher’s voice was not monotonous • Negative Points: • 1-Not doing the required assignments • 2-Students had English two sequential sessions in one day. • 3-The physical condition of the class was not suitable. • 4-The teacher should use more proper feedbacks.(good, very good,…) • 5-The teacher should use more body movements for teaching.
  • 21. Chapter 2:My Narrative from Internship 4 • Reports: • Acccording to the previous terms, internship 4 hold by several sessions. We got familiar with the conceptual program at the first session & professor Moradi took so many examples about this concept.Conceptual program shows the general attitude of the person from the related subject’s function. They talked to us about the time of the class. After that according to the the majority votes, every 4 student made a group & finally by sharing their own comments,we decided to choose one of the lessons of vision books. So we started drawing a conceptual program about the book of tenth grade. At whole, the professor divided us in groups to refer to schools & before that he had chosen our schools too.Our group included Samaneh & Farzaneh & I.We chose the book of Vision 1 & started reading the book to have review on it before going to class & getting ready to unexpected questions.
  • 22. • The next day,we shared our comments about that lesson.Eventually,we decided to choose the lesson of “my village” for our presentation. After reviewing the lesson,we started making powerpoint which had needed lots of related pictures about the lesson. After completing the initial works,we gathered together & Samaneh took the responsibility of presentation. It took about 45 minutes of the class. • Guidance Professor’s Recommendation • School name: Guidance teacher’s name: Session: Date: • Fatemiyeh Mrs.Ipakchi 4th 97/2/14 • Goal of intern:Last session we were asked to attend school at the second hour to attend the coordinating session of teachers & school principals. We were expected to hear some informative expresses. • 27. Form C:Self-evaluation • What do I do about internship4 & its terminology? Internship 4 is based on group work, which is evaluated & implemented in the class after choosing the subject & designing a learning unit & learning plan. What questions do I have in the field of internship 4 How to design a suitable learning unit? & its applied terminology? How much does this process affect an intern to become a teacher? How can it be improved? The answer I found for my questions By choosing an appropriate topic & getting help from the textbook, you can design a suitable learning unit. My suggestions An implementation of a single learning unit is suitable for a meeting & it was better to devote more than one sessio for the learning unit
  • 28.
