Why this topic is significant
in the context of
Business Communication?
Key Objectives of our Research Work:
• To find out, what are the common communication skills an
undergraduate student from University of Dhaka has.
• To enlighten the audience/reader of this research about the
strengths and weaknesses University of Dhaka’s undergraduate
students posses.
• Why this research work will be able to help the course designers of
business communication courses to design the course in more
effective and efficient way.
• To let undergraduate students to know how to build their
professional and personal intercommunication skill for the future.

Findings through Literature Review:
Importance of improving Communication Skills:
• Preparing him/herself for the job market
• Reaching to his/her goal
• Being able to success in the future
Increase writing, listening,
presenting skills
What to do?
Participate in competition
McKenna(1998) found that when individual slack the skills to speak clearly, listen accurately
and present effectively, it reduces profit, diminishes self-esteem and lowers company morale.
