Development Grant from MEDC for 40 new jobs and
$2.65M investment in Vernon Township
• Ohio-based Custom Transporters constructing new
logistics facility in Bennington Township to serve Crest
Marine
• Georgia-based Capstone Logistics starts new operation in
Perry Township, doing fulfillment and delivery for Staples
• Cabinet manufacturer Hemenway Custom Wood
Furnishings to expand with new building addition in New
Haven Township
Strategic Initiatives
• Increased focus on housing development, including
hosting an education & networking event that had
over 100 attendees
• Business & Community Liaison Leyna Miller began
work on developing business/K-12 partnerships
throughout the county
• Received MEDC approval for grants that will help
prepare three top industrial sites for future
development
