Presentation in Ithaca, NY in March 2016 about Town Gown Relations in Livingston County, NY focusing on SUNY Geneseo, the Adopt-A-Business Program, and the Center for Inquiry, Discovery, and Development.
This powerpoint was for a client a few of my classmates and I worked for in the spring of 2019. We put together a campaign to increase attendance at one of their main events.
The document outlines a campaign to increase attendance at the Southern Collegiate Leadership Conference, which has remained around 250-300 attendees annually since 2011, by 15% for the 2019 conference. It analyzes the current situation, including that most students currently attend due to academic requirements rather than personal interest. Goals, objectives, strategies, tactics, research, and budgets are presented to educate and encourage more students in the Southeast region to attend the conference through improved marketing, obtaining engaging keynote speakers, gaining additional sponsorship, and facilitating student and faculty involvement.
The Graduate Business Association (GBA) at the University of South Florida is dedicated to enriching the academic experience of graduate business students and fostering their professional development. The GBA aims to build strong relationships between students, alumni, and industry professionals through events, workshops, and partnerships. Its goals are to promote collaboration among students, connect members with local and global companies, and help empower graduates to succeed in their careers and support the continued success of USF's business programs. The GBA upholds values of accountability, integrity, and leadership to aid the college in developing well-educated leaders and create a sustainable future through impactful research.

This is a powerpoint used for a client I represented along with three other girls this past semester. I was in charge of putting together a powerpoint presentation that gave a brief description of what we would be doing to reach our goal.

When a country applies the same tariff to all nations, it will always import from the most efficient producer, since the more efficient nation will provide the goods at a lower price.
With the establishment of a different forms of Regional economic integration, the same country either reduces or eliminates all the trade barriers for the member countries participaing in the agreement.
And if the agreement is signed with less cost efficient nations then their products become more cheaper in those importing countries which are the part of this agreement.
So, the Importing nations starts to import products from those countries which have less competative advantage rather than those countries which have more competative advantage.
Or in other words, after the establishment of the agreement, the importing country would acquire products from a higher-cost producer, instead of the low-cost producer from which it was importing until then.
Eventually, this would cause a trade diversion.

Carrer goals.pptx and their importance in real lifeartemacademy2
Career goals serve as a roadmap for individuals, guiding them toward achieving long-term professional aspirations and personal fulfillment. Establishing clear career goals enables professionals to focus their efforts on developing specific skills, gaining relevant experience, and making strategic decisions that align with their desired career trajectory. By setting both short-term and long-term objectives, individuals can systematically track their progress, make necessary adjustments, and stay motivated. Short-term goals often include acquiring new qualifications, mastering particular competencies, or securing a specific role, while long-term goals might encompass reaching executive positions, becoming industry experts, or launching entrepreneurial ventures.
Moreover, having well-defined career goals fosters a sense of purpose and direction, enhancing job satisfaction and overall productivity. It encourages continuous learning and adaptation, as professionals remain attuned to industry trends and evolving job market demands. Career goals also facilitate better time management and resource allocation, as individuals prioritize tasks and opportunities that advance their professional growth. In addition, articulating career goals can aid in networking and mentorship, as it allows individuals to communicate their aspirations clearly to potential mentors, colleagues, and employers, thereby opening doors to valuable guidance and support. Ultimately, career goals are integral to personal and professional development, driving individuals toward sustained success and fulfillment in their chosen fields.

Suzanne Lagerweij - Influence Without Power - Why Empathy is Your Best Friend...Suzanne Lagerweij
This is a workshop about communication and collaboration. We will experience how we can analyze the reasons for resistance to change (exercise 1) and practice how to improve our conversation style and be more in control and effective in the way we communicate (exercise 2).
This session will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
Abstract:
Let’s talk about powerful conversations! We all know how to lead a constructive conversation, right? Then why is it so difficult to have those conversations with people at work, especially those in powerful positions that show resistance to change?
Learning to control and direct conversations takes understanding and practice.
We can combine our innate empathy with our analytical skills to gain a deeper understanding of complex situations at work. Join this session to learn how to prepare for difficult conversations and how to improve our agile conversations in order to be more influential without power. We will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
In the session you will experience how preparing and reflecting on your conversation can help you be more influential at work. You will learn how to communicate more effectively with the people needed to achieve positive change. You will leave with a self-revised version of a difficult conversation and a practical model to use when you get back to work.
Come learn more on how to become a real influencer!

global) for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a
context of partnership and reciprocity.
The purpose of community engagement is the partnership of college and
university knowledge and resources with those of the public and private
sectors to enrich scholarship, research, and creative activity; enhance
curriculum, teaching and learning; prepare educated, engaged citizens;
strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility; address critical societal
issues; and contribute to the public good.
