2. PROBLEM STATEMENT-1
An evaluative study to assess the effectiveness of video
assisted teaching on awareness(knowledge & attitude)
towards mental illness among adolescents in selected
schools of haryana.
3. OBJECTIVES
1.To assess the knowledge and attitude regarding mental illness among adolescent
before the planned teaching programme by structured questionnaire.
2.To implement the planned teaching programme regarding mental illness among the
adolescents.
3.To find out the association between pre test knowledge and attitude among
adolescents on mental illness and selected demographic variables.
4. HYPOTHESIS
Ho-There will be no significant difference between pre test and post-test
knowledge scores of the adolescents regarding mental health and mental
illness.
H1-there will be no significant relationship between pre test score and selected
demographic variable.
5. METHODOLOGY
In this study a quasi experimental (one group-pre test,post test)
design will be used to observe the effectiveness of planned
teaching programme on the knowledge regarding mental illness
among the adolescents. In this study the PTP knowledge of mental
illness will be independent variable. Dependent variable is the
response,behaviour or outcome that predicts or explain in
research.

7. OBJECTIVES
•To assess the pre test knowledge regarding the legal issues in mental
health nursing among B.sc 3rd year students.
•To evaluate the effectiveness of planned reaching programme
regarding the legal issues in mental health nursing among B.Sc 3rd
year college students.
•To find out the association between knowledge score with selected
demographic variable.
8. HYPOTHESIS
•H1-there will be significant difference between pre-test and post-test
knowledge score regarding the legal issues in mental health nursing
among B.Sc 3rd year nursing students.
•H2-there will be significant association between the pre test and post-
test knowledge score regarding legal issues in mental health nursing
among B.Sc 3rd year nursing students with selected demographic
variables.
9. NEED OF THE STUDY
The most common legal and ethical challenges facing the nursing
profession include:-
• The appropriate use of social media in relationship to their
workplace.
• Balancing the need to provide care for patients with pressure to be
more efficient in the use of time and resources.
• Dealing with conflict in the workplace.
• Coping with conflict in the workplace.
• Coping with staffing shortage.
10. METHODOLOGY
Quantitative approach is used to achieve the objectives of
the study.The research design used for the study is pre-
experimental one group pre test and post-test design.
In this study sample consists of 60 students.Non probability
convenient sampling technique will be used in the age group
between 19 to 28 years .

A study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme
on knowledge regarding anorexia nervosa among the adolescent girls
in selected colleges at panipat, Haryana.
12. OBJECTIVES
•To assess the level of pre-test knowledge regarding anorexia nervosa
among the adolescent girls.
•To evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on
knowledge regarding Anorexia nervosa among the adolescent girls.
•To determine the association between pre-test knowledge score with
their selected demographic variables.
•To determine the association between pre-test knowledge score with
their selected demographic variables.
13. HYPOTHESIS
•H1-there will be significant difference the mean pre-
test and post-test level of knowledge score among
adolescent girls on anorexia nervosa.
•H2-there is a significant association between the pre
level of knowledge scores adolescents with their
selected demographic variables.
14. METHODOLOGY
Purposive sampling technique will be used.The sample size will
be 60 adolescent girls from the selected colleges at Haryana
,panipat. In this study, it is systematically developed programme
with teaching aids (LCD) ,designed to impart knowledge,
regarding anorexia nervosa and assessment tool will be
measured by semi structured knowledge questionnaire.
