5. Technical skills training
• Depending on the type of job, technical training will
be required. Technical training is a type of training
meant to teach the new employee the technological
aspects of the job.
6. Refresher training
The Refresher training is based on the assumption that
the skills with the existing employees become obsolete
or outdated because of the advancement in the
technology and due to the human tendency of forgetting
things.
Eg:- computerization in an organization.
• Short term courses are conducted for refresher training
• Training is done at regular intervals
7. Cross-functional training
• Training employees to perform operations in areas other
than their assigned job.
• Job rotation can be used for cross functional training.

• The goal of team training is to develop cohesiveness among

• Training that occurs to ensure employees are protected
from injuries caused by work-related accidents.
