2. When you’re in High School, you’re just beginning your young adult life. You don’t
really know what you want to go to college for, but you do know you have to start
thinking about it. Some people, obviously not me, know exactly what they want to
study and have a plan for their lives. I knew I liked reading and writing. It’s my niche. I
love the power of words.
3. So… I decided to run for
student council. Do I remember
what I did 10 years ago on the
student council? Not a chance. I
know I wanted to write a speech
and have something to brag
about on my college entrance
applications, even though I had
no idea what I was actually going
to do with my life.
4. It’s important to mention that I
was part of a select few who
spent as much time as possible in
the library. Why? Because I love
words. Right? I remember
finishing my biology and
chemistry projects early then
signing the back of my student
agenda out for the library. The
library is where I found peace
and solace away from my High
School full of a mere 3 or 400
students. The library aided me in
becoming who I am today,
5. I went to college early because I couldn’t stand not being able to have the freedom to spend all my time in a library if I
wanted to.
I beta read for some of my favorite authors – if I am lucky enough to catch their eye.
I spend the majority of my time writing and reading instead of going out with friends or family.
I am a Contract Specialist and love finding mistakes or discrepancies that others didn’t.
