1.) Be the dumbest person in the room
Why?
• Kick the ego’s ass before the fight
• Pheromones: “They’re really rubbing off on you…”
How?
• Hire people who can take your job
• Make new friends, and throw away the old ones
• Hunt the people who have done it (cold call, email hunter, pay to play)

2.) Take cold showers
Why?
• Recalibrate your tolerance for discomfort, pain, and hardship – Calm chaos
• Brown fat and other health benefits
How?
• Start slow, focus on progression (timed exposure)
• Graduate to ice-baths and breathing techniques
• Other tactics: bouncing, jumping rope, pushups, forest bathing

3.) Practice failure and use “no” therapy
Why?
• Increase your tolerance for fear, risk, and uncertainty – learn exponentially
• Probability: practice taking more shots
How?
• Set “hardly out of reach” goals
• Practice with simple transactions (Can I get a discount?)
• Learn from other people’s failures through stories

4.) See what sacrifice feels like... stop eating
Why?
• Generate focus and mental acuity (and sex appeal)
• Spiritual discipline and empathetic sacrifice
How?
• Begin with caloric restriction by skipping meals
• Define an intermittent fasting (IF) window
• DDU til you hit 36 hours, eventually 3 day (water only)

Practice failure and use “no” therapy Why? • Increase your tolerance for fear, risk, and uncertainty – learn exponentially • Probability: practice taking more shots How? • Set “hardly out of reach” goals • Practice with simple transactions (Can I get a discount?) • Learn from other people’s failures through stories
