PROFILE
As an experienced manager with a background of contracts, project
management, inspection and auditing, I am accustomed to meeting the
demands of an ever changing environment with a can do attitude. I currently
Maintenance/Facilities Manager, where I manage maintenance teams across
multiple sites, demanding strong communication skills and flexibility, often in
high pressure situations working within Service Level Agreements (SLA). In
addition I oversee the contracts when dealing with out sourced maintenance
with sub-contractors. I am self-motivated, disciplined and continuously seek to

CAREER HISTORY
Aspire Defence Ltd – Defence Contractor From 2011 – Present
Maintenance / Facilities Manager
• Responsible for the maintenance of multiple military sites with a Portfolio
of over 750 buildings over four sites comprising of accommodation, office
and technical buildings.
• Responsible for ensuring delivery against a 6.1 million pound budget on
reactive maintenance, which includes Lifecycle.
• Cover all PPM management with over a 50 P-Tasks, amounting to 2500
jobs per month.
• Ensuring that contracts are in place and adhered to by contractors
ensuring value for money
• Managing projects across the contract encompassing technical and
mechanical aspects. Refurbishment of accommodation and office areas
in 2013, both with unrealistic time frames of three weeks whilst the
customer was on summer leave. With a total budget of £500,000 both
was completed in time and within budget. Also the key for a major HVAC

overhaul within 2 of the largest military dinners without being closed
down during works.
• Delivering large refurbishment projects within time, cost and quality
specifications.
• Address new material and service procurement requirements from
suppliers, ensuring the company/customers get value for money
• Weekly and monthly reporting, to my 2 direct reports.
• Review of COGNOS (Active fault/reporting software) daily with reports
when required.
• Review Unavailability’s on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Monthly customer Care meeting with Contractors, managing their
expectations at every level of our customer range.
• Analysis tasking data to identify trends.
• Carry out monthly Site Safety Inspection’s
• Review of OSHENS (SHEF reporting and monitoring software) Bi weekly
• Manage the interface with other departments including Finance,
Facilities, HR and the operational businesses.
• Review existing contracts to identify key sourcing options and
appropriate cost saving opportunities.
• Develop, maintain and improve the procedures and processes meeting
the ever changing demands of the contract.
• Be responsible for month end accounting and budget setting for key cost
drivers (fleet /office-related costs).
• Carry out strategy planning with confirmation meetings.
• Operate in line with Employer’s Core Values and Code of Ethics,
ensuring all personnel adhere.
• Ensuring that my 62 engineers are managed ensuring that efficiency is
foremost so targets are reached on a daily basis. Twice year
performance reviews are carried out and training is provided when
needed.

always satisfied of the standard of the work.
• Tasked with reducing fines and penalties on a monthly basis by smart
management.
• Increase engineer production by time sheet analysis and planning using
LEAN.
• Carried out cost cutting exercise to improve overspend on continuous
