1. Who would be the audience for your media product?
I did some research on what film magazines I believed would most likely to carry
reviews and adverts for our film, these are the magazines that I found:
Focus
Empire
Total film
I believe that these three magazines are the ones which would mostly likely carry
some adverts and reviews as all three are popular magazines and all talk about films
which are similar to Dead Tone.
I have decided that Empire would be the ideal magazine which would most likely to
carry out reviews and adverts of our thriller. I believe this as it is known that a lot of
men and young adult read this magazine and they are who we believed would be
most interested in watching our thriller. On Most of empires magazine a hero from
the latest action movie is seen to be on the front with a lot bold headlines. A lot of
movies which are seen in this magazine are typical action/thriller/crime movies and
as ours being a thriller is seemed perfect. I believe that the readers of Empire would
enjoy our movie as being a thriller is has some action, violent scenes and a good plot
which I think they would enjoy to watch.

2. Review
With a plot line that will pull you in Dead Tone has been described as ‘The Hangover’
of thrillers. Dan Smith (Dan Bannister) is your average teenager, partying and
drinking with his friends but when waking up on a rooftop he has no memory of to
what has happened. Dan has to figure out what has happened to him with only a
number printed on his arm, he rings it in hope of finding out what has happened.
Little does Dan know he has being thrown into an unexplained situation that will be
hard to get out of. Meeting different characters on the way the viewer is only hooked
on finding out what has really happened. From the very beginning of the film to the
end of the credits you feel as you are part of each and every scene trying to help
Dan to find the missing pieces to the puzzle. As the Event unfolds you will only want
to find out more and more. For many people you can relate the film as you may be
able to compare a lot of scenes to real life happenings. Never before as a thriller had
so many different traumatic twists and unexpected happening in the plot. This is a
thriller you defiantly should miss!
