1. Human Services Tech:
Provides a variety of rehabilitation services to adult and school age consumers with developmental
disabilities in accordance with the consumers’support services schedule and the curriculum
developed for them. Is responsible for scheduling activities for consumers in the Day Services
Program in Beaumont. Documents services for individuals in the programs
and assists Rehabilitation Teacher I as needed.
Direct Support Professional:
Provides complex habilitative and rehabilitative care for individuals with Intellectual and developmental
disabilities that are at risk of, or experiencing, a behavioral, mental or physical health crisis. Work involves
implementing treatment programs and performing therapeutic or developmental activities. Services include
direct personal assistance with activities of daily living (grooming, eating, bathing, dressing and personal
hygiene) and independent living tasks; assisting with meal planning and preparation; securing and
providing transportation; assistance with housekeeping, assistance with ambulation and mobility; attending
Person Directed Planning (PDP) meetings, reinforcement of counseling and therapy activities; assistance with
medications and the performance of tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse; and supervision of a program
participant’s safety and security.
Registered Nurse:
Provides nursing services to adults in the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Administers medication, maintains
and tracks sample medications, and provides medical services to adult consumers. Is responsible for
completing documentation relative to work performed. Performs on-going assessments of medical
and mental status of adult consumers. Responsible for duties on Medical Council Subcommittees as
assigned by the Medical Director.
