Heart Disease Awareness:
Arrhythmia
Is much more likely if
you’ve had other heart
conditions in the past,
smoke, are stressed, etc.
Occurs in 1% of
both fetuses and
newborns.
Arrhythmias are often
caused by or related to
serious heart conditions,
so it’s important to go to
the doctor right away.
Occurs when electrical
impulse make your heart
beat too fast, too slow, or
at the wrong rhythm.
Symptoms include: a
racing or slow heartbeat,
shortness of breath,
fainting, sweating,
dizziness, and chest pain.
