I am famous for my friendship with flowers

They are keen sighted , fast sighted
super fast fliers , on the alert always ,
remaining constantlyon watch for a prey
which once spotted is pouncedupon
even if flying in air , caught and carried always
in one quick sweep right away .
They can perform this unsurpassed feat
for they have many special features to boast
a large keel , pointed ,slightly curved, wings
slim and stiff feathers ,air sacs and a strong heart
and all these put together
make it the most deadly predator.

Title of fastest bird really belongs to Swift needletail
for flying up to 169 Km / hourwithout fail
horizontally (and even upwards) continuously
day and night for long distances without landingeven once
drinking, eating, sleeping, and mating – all on its wings

year after year .

Well we can jump up to 40 times our body length easily
Because of a special catch mechanism in our body
Our elastic tendons can catch and store energy

I am not a dragon but I am a giant among flies
With 4 large and strong wings I excel in many qualities
I am a powerful flier better than many if not most
If I show you how, will you not like to raise a toast?
I am competent to migrate far , crossing even seas
fly in all directions, suddenly change direction with ease.
I can propel in 6 directions -forward backward left right
upward downward ,in 4 different styles and many modes,
Generate lift in 4 different ways and fly pretty fast-
achieving up to 97 Km per hour with 2 pairs of wings
using them in phase or out of phase as the needs be
for fast or slow flight, hovering or gliding and drawing
power directly from muscles at the base unlike others
flexing or twisting wings at every beat during flight.
My most unusual quality ,of which I can boast really
And which I often display during fights for territory
or mate, is ,believe me ,ability of Motion camouflage

Tiger beetle
A tiger among beetles is a fierce predator and fast mover
“ A stunning insect with distinct markings and brilliant colours”
“ sunning on wide forest tracks or on sunny beaches” world over
Some say it is more like Cheetah of the beetle world due to its
ability to run or rather sprint speedily up to 9 Km per hour
claiming the title of the “Fastest insect on our planet ”
However others admire more its brilliant iridescent colours
‘ Jewel toned ’violet , green ,red, orange or blue of various hue
and variety of patterns so much so that they prefer
to call it “ Butterflyof the beetle world ”-a title long overdue
Be that as it may it is also known for its strange hunting style
for while chasing a prey it suddenly stops and reorients itself
before going further;
Actually it runs so fast that it loses focus and can’t see for a while
becoming blind temporarily so to say.:
All the same prey insects find it pretty difficult to escape.
Its self defense is also interesting in a way :
as it spits poisons like cyanide at the pursuing predators face
and manages to quickly escape.
