SWE’S PLAY A PIVITOL ROLE IN
IDENTIFYING AND EXPLAINING THE
KNOWLEDGE THAT CAN GUIDE
STUDENTS FOR SOCIAL WORK
PRACTICE.
8. CONCLUSION.
ON SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION’S
EVOLUTION IN INDIA ,
IT WILL BE INAPPROPRIATE TO SAY
THAT SOCIAL WORK EDUCATOR’S
HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO THE
NEED OF INDIGENIZING SOCIAL
WORK KNOWLEDGE.
AT PRESENT, THE TIME IS
APPROPRIATE FOR THE GROWTH
OF IKB (INDIGENIOUS KNOWLEDGE
BASE) AS, CONTINUOUS EFFORTS
ARE BEING MADE BY INDIAN SOCIAL
WORK PROFESSIONALS TO
GENERATE INDIGENOUS
KNOWLEDGE FOR SOCIAL WORK
EDUCATION AND TRAINING.
