Re: International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones – October 2015
Dear Brothers:
We would like to announce the dates of the upcoming International Training for Elders
and Responsible Ones. The training will begin at 8:30am on Thursday, October 1, 2015,
and conclude at 7:45pm on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The training will be held at the
Hotel Majestic SA; Praça Dr. Vicente Rizzo, 160, Águas de Lindóia - SP, CEP 13.940-
000, Brazil.
In order to continue this gathering in the way of training, we require that all attendants
adhere to a standard application procedure by filling out an application form and
submitting a donation. The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones is
for leading ones and co-workers only. We respectfully ask that sisters not apply. We
encourage not only the elders but also all the brothers who are bearing responsibility or
who are learning to serve to apply. We ask that all registrants be recommended by the
elders in their locality. We hope that through such perfecting times, the Lord will make
us all able ministers of the New Testament, effective building material for the universal
building up of the Body of Christ, and good stewards and serving ones in our respective
local churches.
After the training, on October 4th, all trainees are invited to attend a blending meeting
with the churches in Brazil. The blending meeting will be held at the Hotel Majestic,
SA. A website with detailed information is included on the enclosed Information Sheet.
Enclosed in this registration packet is an application form and information regarding
the meeting schedule, accommodations, and transportation. Please follow the new
instructions listed on the Information Sheet. The registration deadline is July 1,
2015. This is a firm deadline. Since much is involved in the preparation of the training,
we ask that all applicants turn in their registration as soon as possible.

4. Deadline: The deadline for registration is July 1, 2015; this is a firm deadline. Please
remember that your registration is not complete without your transportation
information and training donation. Any ITERO registration received after the July 1
registration deadline will incur a $50.00 USD late charge per trainee in addition to
the required ITERO donation. Furthermore, we will not accept any walk-up
registrations or substitutions on the first day of the ITERO. Please take note of the
ITERO registration deadline and plan accordingly when making announcements to
the saints, so that they can submit their registration information in a timely manner.
5. Qualifications: Co-workers, elders, and responsible brothers recommended by the
elders.
6. Sisters: There will be no concurrent sisters’ conference meetings during this time of
training. If the wives of the brothers travel with their husbands, they will need to be
on their own during the days and evenings while their husbands attend the training
sessions, including the study and fellowship sessions. Wives traveling with their
husbands to Águas de Lindóia will need to submit the transportation payment by the
July 1 deadline to take advantage of the airport bus service.
There will be no special activities for the sisters accompanying their husbands during
the training. The sisters should be prepared to group together on their own to pray and
fellowship in the hotels. No translation service will be available for the sisters during
the days of the training.
7. Translation: There will be translation into Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean,
Portuguese, and Spanish. Translation for additional languages will be provided as
needed. If your language is not listed, please note it on the application form. Each
trainee must bring his own FM radio, headset, and extra batteries if translation is
needed.

3. 8. Costs:
• Donation: The training donation is $100.00 USD. Please send the training donation
with your application form to the LSM Registration Section by July 1, 2015.
Saints from Brazil should submit their ITERO applications and donations to
Associação Vida e Edificação by July 1, 2015 through the website below.
• Lodging: Lodging is available at the Hotel Majestic SA, as well as five additional
hotels located within close proximity to the Hotel Majestic SA. Special group rates are
available at each hotel. **

** If you need to cancel your hotel reservation, please do so by September 1, 2015, or
Living Stream Ministry will incur a $100.00 penalty. You will be responsible to
reimburse Living Stream Ministry for this penalty if your reservation is not cancelled
by the deadline.
• Transportation: The Hotel Majestic, SA is located about 100 miles (2.5 hour drive)
from the Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). To alleviate the cost of a taxi, Living
Stream Ministry will offer transportation by bus between the Guarulhos International
Airport (GRU) and the Hotel Majestic SA for arrivals and departures. This service will
be provided at an additional cost. One way use of the bus service will cost $30.00 USD
per person, and the round trip cost is $60.00 USD per person. Bus transportation
services must be prearranged. We cannot guarantee airport bus service to those
who do not sign-up and submit the transportation payment by July 1, 2015.
If you plan to use this transportation service, please indicate your request for round
trip or one way transport on the 2015 Fall ITERO Application Form and submit the
transportation payment at the time of your registration. If you use one-way
transportation only, please indicate the direction needed on the ITERO application
form.
Brothers who request bus transportation service with their registration should meet
and gather in the arrival hall of the International Terminal, Terminal 3, of the
Guarulhos International Airport, when they arrive. Brothers arriving into Terminals 1
and 2 should take the underground passage to Terminal 3. Brothers will be stationed
throughout the airport with “ITERO” signs to help direct you.
• Food: All meals will be included in your room rate and should be eaten at your own
hotel. Please see the attached schedule for meal times.
• Airfare: Please purchase your own airline ticket and inform the LSM Registration
Section of your flight arrangements.
• Visas: If you are a U.S. or Canadian citizen, you must have a visa to travel to Brazil.
If you are a citizen of another country, please check with the closest Brazilian
Consulate to find out if a visa is required.
Visa requirements for Brazil are very strict. When applying for your visa, please
follow the detailed instructions on the website of the Brazilian consulate in your area.
It is recommended that you apply for your visa at least 1 month before your travel
date. Although the visa itself may only take a few days to process, it is always best to
add as much of a buffer as possible in case any issues arise during the process.
