1. PROPS FOR OUR MUSIC VIDEO

2. GUITAR
 The singer should have a guitar to hold/play in some of the
shots in the studio. This emphasises that he is an organic
artist who plays his own instruments.

3.  This would be a good guitar to buy as a prop for our music video as it is cheap
compared to other guitars but this is fine as we don’t hear the sound quality in
the music video and it looks the part. It is an average size for a guitar and so will
help communicate the authenticity of the artist.

4. PHOTO ALBUM
 We are planning for the male singer and his girlfriend to
look through a photo album containing many photographs
of their time together. This will allow the audience to gain
an understanding of their connection and history.

5.  This is a cheap photo album that doesn’t look too fancy as if for a married
couple and contains black card to stick the photos onto so the memories can
stand out more. We will take photos of the singer and his girlfriend before the
shoot with the photo album and stick them in.

6. SPARKLERS
 Near the end of the music video, the singer and girlfriend will
use sparklers overlooking the landscape at night. This signifies
that she is happiest when she is with him as he ‘brings light’
and makes her feel comfortable to be herself.

7.  This product again isn’t a massive amount of money and doesn’t hold that
many sparklers but also not too little. This is because we would like various
shots with them and therefore the singer and his girlfriend will probably require
more than one sparkler each to last for the shoot.

8. LANTERN
 When there are shots of singer and his
girlfriend walking through the forest, some of
these shots will take place at night where they
will both hold on to one lantern to guide
them through the forest together.

9.  This lantern once again is quite cheap compared to others and imitates an old
hurricane lamp which could signify their history together. It uses LED lights
instead of paraffin and so isn’t dangerous to use in the forest with many trees.

10. CALENDAR
 The girlfriend of the singer will have events written
down on her calendar like going out with her
‘friends’. Dates with her boyfriend will also be written
down such as going for a walk in the forest, where
the camera will then cut to them walking in the forest.
All the dates with her boyfriend will be circled to
connote that he is more important to her than her
other ‘friends’, undoubtedly because he is the only
one who truly knows and understands her.

11.  This calendar is an average price and includes photos of beautiful landscapes. It
is a good one to buy as the photos are of nature and again emphasises that the
artist is organic and that he and his girlfriend in then music video have a
genuine relationship, even though it may not be completely understood by
either.

12. PICNIC BLANKET
 The singer and his girlfriend will have a picnic in a park
where they will have some food and we will see them look
very happy together. This is an example of one of the many
good memories they have shared, and one of the few we
see in the music video.

13.  This picnic blanket is the right size for two people to share a picnic and looks
like a very homely blanket. It is very cheap and although it may not be the best
quality, it will do for one day’s worth of shooting.

14. BOUQUET OF FLOWERS
 In the music video, the singer will bring his
girlfriend a bunch of flowers when they
are at school as a symbol of his love for
her, but she will reject them as her ‘friends’
don’t accept him so she can fit in. This will
demonstrate their complicated
relationship and her confused feelings.
 We will buy the flowers on the day we
shoot with them so that they are at their
freshest.
