Samuel McGuire has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from the University of Calgary with a specialization in speech language and a minor in Japanese language. He also has an ACE TESOL Certificate from Mount Royal University. His experience includes volunteering as an Aikido teaching assistant, Japanese teaching assistant, and ESL tutor. He worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan from 2013 to 2016 through the JET Programme. He is currently studying Japanese at the Calgary Japanese Language School.
