2. Streamline processes, control
message quality, quickly initiate
team campaigns, evaluate the
quality of message
With Team Cadences admins can
control and disperse an entire
multi-step communication process
to all users through one central
cadence.
3. In this lesson we will cover
the fundamentals of Team
Cadences:
● Create a Cadence
● Convert to a Team Cadence
● Assigning People to a Team Cadence
● Groups
● Roles and Permissions
4. The user interface for Team Cadences is
similar to Team Templates. Two tabs at the
top one for “My Cadences” the other
“Team Cadences”
Changes made to the
cadence will be reflected
for all users putting people
through that cadence.
5. Creating a Team Cadence is
identical to how you create
Personal Cadences today. The
only difference is having to
select from the Share Settings
and select Team Cadence
6. To convert a Personal Cadence
to a Team Cadence first copy the
Personal Cadence. Click on the 3
dots and select Copy.
Then go to the copied cadence and click
Settings. Change share setting to Team
Cadence. Only Admins have access to
the Settings option.
Copying the cadence first will allow you to keep
the analytics from the personal cadence. If you
do not copy and simply convert that personal
cadence data will be lost.
7. Adding prospects to a Cadence is the
same as before you can import prospects
and add them to a cadence upon import.
One thing you will now notice is an Assign
to option. This gives the ability to import
people and assign the cadence steps to
others on the team. The person who
imports the prospect will own the prospect
in SalesLoft but the one assigned will be
responsible for running those cadence
steps.
8. From the Team Cadence page you
will see the total number of people
added to a cadence. In this example
you see 77.
If you have assigned steps to other reps
they will only see the steps and people
assigned to them. For example if we have
a Team Cadence that has 77 people and
you assign 49 people to a rep that is what
they will see on their Dashboard.
9. If you are creating a Team Cadence
for a specific Group, you need to first:
● Create the Cadence
● Then change the ownership of
the cadence to someone in that
Group.
● If you do not change the
ownership to someone apart of
the Group, the entire Group will
not be able to see the Team
Cadence.
10. Team Cadences provide leaders with control over messaging and content. It is equally
important that the leader restrict or grant permissions to specific roles of Personal and Team
Cadences. Take note that Custom roles must have permissions added to that role. Below is
an explanation of the permissions to help you better determine permissions of your team.
● Manage Personal Cadences- Allows all rights that currently exist on a user
role regarding Personal Cadences , with the exeption of “view & copy public
cadences which are handled in a separate permission
● View & Copy Public Cadences- Specifies that users will have access to team
members’ Cadences which are marked as public and will have the ability to
copy them
● Admin Personal Cadences- Allows all rights that exist on an admin role
regarding Personal Cadences, includes the ability to see public and private
Personal Cadences for all users
● Manage Cadences Ownership- Ownership is a key feature, since ownership
impacts groups. Cadences obey all group visibility settings. Giving someone
this permission gives them the ability to change ownership of Cadences.
Which can ultimately impact what a Group is able to see.
● View Team Cadences Overview- Allows users to see Team Cadences and the
Analytics Overview page. This is meant to allow users to see successful
Cadences and request access from their team admin to run Team Cadences
● Run Team Cadences- User can run steps in a Cadence but cannot make any
changes
● Manage Team Cadences- This grants admin level control over Team
Cadences, user can create and administer content to the team.
