2. Modern sales teams are already
using Slack to communicate and
collaborate with their colleagues
and share news of deals won.
Now, you can integrate Slack with
SalesLoft to get real-time alerts to
any Slack channel you’d like on the
SalesLoft activity that matters most.

3. Get started by
navigating to your
team settings.

4. From the Team Settings menu, select “Integrations.”
Your SalesLoft integration options will appear.
Click “Configure” and “Add To Slack.”

5. SalesLoft will generate Slack usernames for
your team members based on their email
address. For example, if your email address
is jessica.brown@salesloft.com, SalesLoft
will enter your Slack username as
jessica.brown. If this is incorrect, instruct
your team to head to “Profile” to update
their Slack username.

6. Use automation rules to power your Slack
integration and improve the
communication of your sales team.
You can configure Slack notifications for the following
SalesLoft triggers:
● When a person changes in SalesLoft
● When a success is recorded for a person
● When a person clicks a link in an email
● When a person replies to an email

7. Common Slack Automation Rules
Alert your team when important information
about a prospect changes, for example when a
marketing score reaches a certain threshold or
a stage changes.

Never miss the opportunity to capitalize on the
interest of your key strategic sales. Instantly
alert your team when a prospect in your target
segments click a link or reply to an email.

Never miss the opportunity to celebrate a deal won or
notify your implementation team of a new account instantly
with this rule. Set your when trigger as “When a success is
logged for a person” and customize the rule as needed.
