1. 10 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A STUDENT :
A student has many responsibilities attached to them when studying tertiary education, Some responsibilities are
more important than others and those responsibilities need to be put into place first.
These responsibilities are :
1) To develop a proper Time Management plan so that you can be early to class as well as prepared for all your
upcoming lectures and to go over all the notes while making questions of things you don’t understand before
attending the lecture. Time Management will also allow you as a student to complete lots of other different
tasks during the day , E.g. Studying but also having time to relax and improve on your self.
2) Have respect for others as well as your self by following all the rules and regulations the campus has set out
for students, make sure to always consider other students opinions and thoughts.
3) It is your responsibility to make sure you take full advantage of all the access provided to you on campus. E.g.
campus library, sporting facilities.
4) Be responsible for your behavior , try to be a honest student at all times.
5) Be organized by setting goals for your academic studies as well as setting goals for other things in life make
sure to have a strong committed plan in action in order to achieve these goals within a certain time limit.
6) Accountability is what drives you to do your best at university how well you express your self .
7) Do not disturb the lecture for no reason , if you get sick , it is up to you to get all the notes you missed out on
as well as complete tasks.
8) Always try to participate in the lecture don’t ever be shy to ask when you don’t understand something as there
are also other students in the class who might be struggling with the exact same thing as you.
9) Don’t leave task and assignments for last minute always plan your time out so u can finish before the turn in
date, go over and check your work properly.
10) Make sure to keep your notes in a safe place as you will need them for the next lecture session, bring them to
class all the time.

• Integrity – Somebody who is honest and trustworthy as they have good principals.
• Respect – when one is looked up to or admired because they have good qualities etc.
• Open – mindedness – Some who likes to think outside the box look into new ideas allow others to share there
opinions and thoughts .
• Discipline – To obey and follow rules or a code of conduct.
• Tolerance – To be patient and understanding of what is going on with others.
• Team spirt – Mixed feelings of excitement , pride , motivation , loyalty , believing in each other.
• Responsibility – Having control or an influence over something.
Core Values and a Code of Ethics go hand in hand without each other nothing would make sense or run smoothly .
3. POMODORO TECHNIQUE
METHOD:
• Select a task to focus on for this technique.
• Use the timer on your phone or any timer close to you.
• Set the timer to 25 minutes.
• Work on the task you chose to focus on until the 25 minutes are up.
• Once the 25 minutes are up , set the timer to 5 minutes , These 5 minutes are
your break.
• Do that 4 times.
• Every 4th time this technique is done , take a longer break.
4. 2- MINUTE RULE
• This rule will stop you from procrastination and allow you to build new habits which
help you to grow and improve your productivity skills.
