Grip on Geo is a bundle of applications on top of FME developed by GIM that streamlines geodata management in cities and municipalities in Flanders, Belgium. The gain? Up-to-date information that leads to more qualitative analyses, less manual work and better service delivery and policy decisions.
Grip on Geo is a set of standard solutions that automate geo-related tasks of local governments using FME. Although developed for the Flemish context, the principle “develop once, reuse multiple times” is certainly transferable to other regions or countries as well where common geodata processes can profit from automatization.
