1. SUN CSA Laos – Learning Route to Peru
1. SUN CSA invested in participant preparation. We focussed on high priority learnings
needed for Laos, esp our government partners.
2. In a highly controlled context, ensured civil society was on learning route team. SUN
provides a space for engagement, we maximised this.
3. SUN CSA members ensured “added value” –2 additional days in Peru with a focus on
women’s empowerment & civil society partnerships.
Lessons Learned
1. Plan cascade learning and feedback before the Learning Route.
2. More structured feedback on return, and follow up of action plan. Allocate time in the
SUN CSA committee meeting.
3. Identify actions that the SUN CSA can specifically lead. Delegate a lead.
4. If using it for advocacy, prepare with other partners in Learning Route preparation.
